Liberty Baptist Christian School Presents “A Super Christmas”

Christmas Event 2015

On December 18, 2015 Our School and Daycare presented our annual Christmas Event.  This year it was called, ”A Super Christmas”, featuring the students of LBCSD, Our Liberty Baptist Church Bell Choir, and a String Ensemble and Piano.  It was great to see our entire sanctuary filled with Parents, Grandparents, other relatives and friends.  There was so many people that there was also viewing via our church’s closed circuit used for an overflow room adjacent to our sanctuary.

The children starting with the toddlers and young twos under the direction of Ms. Copeland sang “Ring those Bells” and “Christmas Christmas”.  Then, our older twos and threes, under the direction of Ms. V. Matthews, sang “O Come All Ye Faithful”.  Next, was the fours, under the direction of Mrs. Baisden sang “It came Upon the Midnight Clear”.  And finally, the Kindergarten through Second graders accompanied by the School Age students from our Before and After Care program, under the direction of Mrs. Bagwell, sang “One Thing Remains” and “Joy to the World / Unspeakable Joy”

The night finished out by the entire school and sanctuary singing, “ Go tell it on the Mountain that Jesus Christ is born”.  As the parents and relatives dispersed from the sanctuary they were given hot chocolate and watched our Liberty Baptist Church members reenact a Live Nativity.

It was such a powerful night for our school ministry and Church to testify Our Living Savior, Jesus Christ.  Thank you for all the work and dedication of our school staff, our church partners, our Pastor, Rev Mark Reon, and all the parents, family members and friends that attended our Christmas Event.
